You May Remember this Pair from Hear No Evil See No Evil...Where Richard pryor plays Wally the blind guy and Gene Wilder plays Dave the Deaf Guy. Great Flick, more than Great a Perfect performance by Gene! Ever since this movie came out every role Gene Wilder has played I swear he is still "Dave The Deaf Dude". I Don't Know if its Genes bewildered look in each scene he's ever played B. 'H.N.E.S.N.E.' or A. 'H.N.E.S.N.E.' but he seems totally oblivious at times of what's going on. Is Gene Wilder really deaf, and just playing it off? Maybe he really is that great at reading lips but I just don't believe him when he says he heard my demo tape!
