WHEN KEEPING IT REAL GOES WRONG : ADVERTISING EDITION

You may have already noticed that corporate juggernauts, have been speaking directly to their target markets and speaking their language. Its a great tactic when used sparingly, as of late they have been combining the universal appeal of one generation with another in hopes of spreading the word to two generations at one time. These marketing budgets combine to increase impact and control expenses but unfortunately, this is where the line gets a bit blurred.

Example 1: Burger King X Sir Mix Alot X Sponge Bob Square pants = Big Box Booty Shaking

Example 2: Schick Razors / Mow The lawn = The 70's Bush and Late 80's Legal, Bald, and baby smooth

So the next time you find mounds of pubes in the tub, or your little niece backing "it" up on you-tube, you now know who to blame, or thank, or who knows. Careful, the line is already blurred, I'm just pointing it out. lol
