A DJ's business card, was and still is, the mixtape. My boy @PuertoRicoRob an executive at Jive/Zomba like many people in the industry hated to have to walk around with an effing mixtape, at a party, having the faintest inkling the dj on the mixtape effing sucks! So what Rob would do is, right in front of the dj, toss his mixtape clear across the room. The DJ now embarrassed would walk away, hurt, while other executives and DJ's with clout would laugh hysterically. The mixtape jewel case shattered. The CD inside scratched up and stepped on.
