RECALL?? THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP...

So the other day I get this post card in the mail from Nissan. Like all my mail, I take a look and if its really important and/or says "IMPORTANT" in big red letters across the front. I just toss back onto the pile with all the other 'important' mail. So fast-forward to today, I'm running some errands before my normal do-nothing-sundays watching football and go to UPS, Shoprite, and finally to get some fuel in my new fuel efficient Sentra and...

My car doesn't start. This car, which I just bought on November 1st. This car that I purchased with only 7 miles on the odometer. Yes! That car. Won't start. Grr!!

After waiting for word back from the dealership they tell me that there is a recall on my car, that they sent me a letter and that unfortunately because it's sunday there is no tow-truck to tow my car. Whaaa Thaa Fuhh!

Well anyway the moral of all of this is, don't just read your mail, actually READ your mail and follow those directions. This way you wont be stuck fogging up windows talking to yourself and missing the Steelers game. (I ended up just starting my car after a few hours of sitting around. I guess it worked itself out, but I'll still be sitting at my dealership early tomorrow morning for the fail.)
